Cal vs the Arizona Wildcats, Saturday, November 6th at 12 noon. We are on a roll with 2 back to back wins under our belts!! A group of us have been having a blast watching the games together in my large backyard gazebo; we even had our own “half time show” last week thanks to alum Max Roshensky throwing (twirling?) FIRE!! This event is our way of welcoming newly enrolled Freshman and Transfer Students to Cal before they embark on their college journey at best public university in the world. It is our opportunity to serve the university by sharing our experiences of Berkeley and to offer our advice to new students. Additionally, it is a way of supporting the Cal family in southern California and is a way for alums to reconnect with the University experience we are all so proud of.So log on, share your Cal stories, teach the students some great Cal traditions and bond with them and SoCal alumni over attending the best public university in the world!

For all of you Cal Bears who are searching for last minute worthy causes for tax donations for 2019 (besides giving to Cal and/or our alumni club, of course), please consider giving to this so very worthwhile organization at our sister school at UC Davis. It is the Veterinary Catastrophic Need Fund. It provides veterinary medical treatments at the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital for animals that are injured in wildfires, natural disasters or other accidents.I have been a donor for two years now and it is so gratifying to know that we are helping animals in our state get the care they need, especially after the wildfires in our state.
